There's a wide range of events planned each year in Arrowtown, and within a quick drive through the Central Otago region. In spring spectate or participate in the zany and extreme during The Remarkables Spring Carnival. Long summer days means more time to celebrate. Summer's a carnival of fun with the tasty Gibbston Harvest Festival and The Glenorchy Races a local affair with a very, very special flavour. In autumn heritage and harvest join forces in the streets of Arrowtown for the Arrowtown Autumn Festival. The ultimate winter party of the Southern Hemisphere is the Lindauer Queenstown Winter Festival. Not to be missed, locals and visitors celebrate the arrival of snow and all that is great about winter in Queenstown. A day and night event requiring true stamina.
